Quick Pomodoro Sauce
- 1 28-ounce can San Marzano tomatoes
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- ¼ tsp. sugar
- Kosher salt
- Pour tomatoes in a blender and pulse for a few second to form a coarse purée.
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring often so it won't brown.
- Add tomatoes and sugar and simmer over low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly thicker.
