Ingredients
  • 1 28-ounce can San Marzano tomatoes
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. sugar
  • Kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Pour tomatoes in a blender and pulse for a few second to form a coarse purée.
  2. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring often so it won't brown.
  4. Add tomatoes and sugar and simmer over low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly thicker.
